Meet Dr. Riley
Hi, I’m Dr. Riley Miller!I grew up in a chiropractic family, so health, exercise, and living life to its fullest have always been a big part of who I am. I was a three-sport athlete growing up, studied athletic training at San Diego State University, and later graduated with honors from Life University’s College of Chiropractic. After school, I had the opportunity to spend three years practicing alongside my dad, where I learned the value of truly knowing your patients and caring for people through every stage of life. Today, I work with individuals and families of all ages—from kids and busy parents to active adults, athletes, golfers, and grandparents. My care is centered around the spine and nervous system, with the goal of helping people move better, feel better, stay active, and continue doing the things they love.I believe great chiropractic care should feel personal. Whether you’re dealing with an ongoing issue, recovering from the physical demands of an active lifestyle, or simply looking to take better care of your health, my approach is always tailored to you. These days, I’m an avid golfer who loves the beach, great food, staying active, and being part of a strong community. With that in mind, it’s probably no surprise that I fell in love with Santa Barbara. I’m thrilled to call this community home and grateful for the opportunity to care for the people who make it such a special place.
My Chiropractic Approach
Your nervous system is your body’s communication network. It connects your brain with the rest of your body and helps coordinate everything from movement and sensation to balance, recovery, and many of the automatic functions that keep you going every day. Supporting the health of your spine and nervous system is an important part of helping your body function, adapt, and perform at its best. That is why my approach to health starts with getting back to the basics. The body functions best when it has a strong foundation: a well-functioning spine and nervous system, nourishing food, regular movement, quality rest, a positive mindset, and meaningful connection with the people around us. Chiropractic care is a HUGE part of that foundation—helping support healthy movement, reduce physical stress, and keep the body functioning at its best.In a world constantly chasing the next breakthrough, fad diet, or quick fix, my approach is intentionally simple. Before looking for the next answer, I believe in giving the body the fundamental things it needs to recover, adapt, and thrive. When those building blocks are in place, we create a stronger foundation for lasting health and a full, meaningful life.

Initial Intensive Care
Consistent care focused on reducing symptoms, improving posture and movement, and helping you get back to daily activities and the things you love to do.
Lifestyle Care
Ongoing care tailored to you designed to maintain progress, support healthy function, and help keep small issues from becoming bigger ones.
Initial Intensive Care
When something has been bothering you for a while, simply feeling a little better isn’t nearly the same as addressing the problem. The initial intensive phase of care is designed for those times when your body needs more focused attention. The goal is to reduce pain and irritation, restore healthy movement, improve mobility and function, and begin addressing the neurological, postural and movement patterns that may be contributing to the way you feel. These patterns often develop gradually—from work, exercise, old injuries, poor posture, stress, or simply years of everyday life. Because they didn’t appear overnight, meaningful change often requires consistency in the beginning. More frequent care gives us the opportunity to build momentum, monitor how your body is responding, and make adjustments to your plan along the way.The goal isn’t to keep you coming in constantly. It’s to put in the right work early, help you make meaningful progress, and get you back to feeling confident in your body and doing the things you love.
Lifestyle Care
Living well is more than just being pain-free. It’s about having the freedom to stay active, enjoy the people around you, and keep doing the things that make life feel full.Lifestyle Care is designed to support the way your body moves, adapts, and handles the physical demands of everyday life. Whether that means golfing, surfing, hiking, lifting, running, playing with your kids, spending the day at the beach, or simply feeling good in your body, regular care can help you stay on top of the stiffness, restrictions, and recurring aches that can gradually get in the way. When problems do show up, the goal is to help you recover well, restore comfortable movement, and get back to the activities you enjoy as efficiently as possible. Once you’re feeling good again, lifestyle care is about maintaining that progress rather than waiting until something becomes a bigger problem. That’s where monthly wellness care comes in. Whether your body does best with a check-in once a month, twice a month, or every week, your care is customized around your lifestyle, activity level, goals, and what your body needs. The purpose is simple: stay ahead of problems, support the work you’ve already put in, and keep you doing the things you love.Santa Barbara makes it easy to want to live an active, healthy life. My job is to help you take care of the body that allows you to enjoy it.
